Our Client is currently sourcing for a Business Development Manager who will target new business opportunities across the UK. Promoting their range of facility services across soft services, targeting both the public and private sectors. 

Your duties will be: 

  • Ensure that all administration and written documentation produced are to a high professional standard in line with client expectations 
  • Proactively raise your awareness to market conditions within your target areas
  • Maintain knowledge of all products, solutions & services, key competitor offerings and regional developments
  • Accurate forecasting of new business opportunities & pipeline management
  • Develop, close and manage your pipeline successfully
  • Work closely with the internal teams to maximise all opportunities 
  • Develop lasting relationships 
  • Introduce other business lines into your accounts to cross-sell effectively

In order to apply for the Business Development Manager role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 3 years of experience within the facilities management market 
  • Experienced in sourcing / developing new business opportunities
  • Able to close complex solution sales in the region of £500K - £1.5M range 
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience of sales forecasting, targeting and reporting
  • Have strong collaborative and strategic selling skills in to the B2B enterprise market
  • Had led major bid responses
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Travel across regional boundaries and occasionally working unsociable hours
