Role Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join a growing Business Development team, playing a key role in securing new business through high-quality, compelling tender submissions.
This role is ideal for someone who can translate complex information into clear, persuasive content and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Producing high-quality responses for bids, tenders, and proposals
Creating clear, professional and technical documentation, including mobilisation strategies
Ensuring all submissions are compliant, bespoke, and aligned with client requirements and corporate standards
Collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored, client-focused submissions
Managing multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
Maintaining and improving bid content libraries and processes
Supporting presentations and developing digital bid and sales content
Using tools such as AI (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot), Microsoft and Adobe software
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in bid, tender or proposal writing (FM or service sector desirable)
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Office & Adobe skills
Experience with bid management software and client portals
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Comfortable using AI tools to enhance content creation
Full UK driving licence
